Just heard the really sad new that Liz's friend and colleague Steve Forbes has died. Only met him once but heard about his exploits so regularly I feel I knew him. Lovely guy who was responsible for all Cargo's plant, fixtures, fittings and stuff. Pressure job. Much travelled. Well liked. Young.
Does anyone else out there have a relationship with someone they don't know well but know a lot about? It feels a bit more like a celebrity has died than a friend. Weird feeling.
Poor guy died from complications following a severe chest infection. How fragile we are.
