Now, of course, every office in the world has some sort of sticky-note pad. You can even get virtual ones. A great success built on the solid foundation of abject failure.
Tennis champion Ivan Lendl never won Wimbledon. He helped Andy Murray to learn from his failure and become a winner.
What have you failed at? Are you on your fourth attempt at giving up smoking? Trying to get a qualification? Hoping one day to finish a particularly difficult puzzle or crossword?
Jesus told Peter he was going to go wrong big time. When it came to the crunch, he said, he was going to tell a whopping great lie, three times, to save his own skin. He would distance himself from his great friend and teacher. Peter did just that, but it didn't stop him becoming a successful evangelist, teacher and preacher.
