It's time to fix
So take your picks
And make the mix
Then lift the bricks
And then the bits
Of grit will fit
And soon the city
Which we pitied
Will get back to nitty-gritty.
So work hard
And set a guard
And make the wall
Again as tall
And not to fall
Cos all in all
This holy call
Is a long haul
And not a dawdle.
Then the Lord'll
Raise the gifts
And give the lift
And mission shifts
To the next list
Of folk to reach
And crowds to teach
And so to each
A chance to seek
The reason for the task we've peeked.
