Spent a very happy morning being drenched in Tescos car park as the Nailsea churches got together and helped people with their shopping. It was brilliant it was such a wet day as folk were very appreciative of our offers to take their trolleys back to the trolley park.
The feedback from the check-out bag-packers was that Daily Mail readers are very suspicious of any offers of help and elderly women shopping alone buy a lot of alcohol.
The young people I was working with made the time pass by making it a competition. It was fun to see them popping up from behind cars, like meercats out of their holes, to pounce on people.
We also did a fair bit of litter collection when it was quieter. Amazing how those plastic bags get amalgamated into trees.

woring ?!? I've spent some interesting times working - I was employed by them in another (orangy) supermarket's car park. Try not to hit cars with the trolleys!

I only read it once a week on a Saturday, and then its only to get the TV guide with the excellent soaps review by Jacqui someone. Saves me from actually having to watch em!
