Knights of God

Can anyone remember this TV programme? My sons used to watch it on Sundays, late afternoon/early evenings. It would have been some time between 1984 and 1990 I guess.

The theme tune had monks chanting 'knights of God' or something like that.

We used to call it Cross Fingers but that wasn't its real name, just what one of the boys called it by mistake once and it stuck.

Help.

Patrick Troughton and Nigel Stock. Classic stuff. Never saw it, though. http://www.625.org.uk/staraker/sb06kgeg.htm

Sorry can't help.

For years I thought there was a Moody Blues song about some rather effete crusaders: Knights in White Satin.

Thanks everyone. Phil's link has a poster from the show which has two hands holding crossed swords. Guess what? They look like crossed fingers. Have told ickle onny, oops sorry, Jon, and he agrees.

I hope the Naisea baggies fan isn't too nervous ahead of tonight's action at Turf Moor....
