My colleague Ken is off on sabbatical doing horrid things like being cramped on a yacht a lot, having a family holiday with grown-up children and travelling. Just trying to get my head round your closest colleague being a sailor and a folkie! I suppose you overlap in one or two small corners of your CD/iTunes collection.
I bought him Seth Lakeman's Freedom Fields for Christmas and we both love it.
