Lines Composed off the M18

Looking around the motorway service station on Saurday morning Liz said we should come here regularly because it made her feel thin. Have to say that the arms of the tubular steel framed dining chairs may need moving further apart on the next redesign:

It's the first time that svelte
Is something I've felt
And my health-check is top-notch and hardy;
My buttocks feel trim
And my thighs are quite thin;
Or maybe the rest of you's lardy?

There are cheers from the gutters
As they open the shutters
Of Doncaster North's Burger King;
All the deeply-fried gasses
Will restock the asses
Of Yorkshire's finest, so sing.

I visited those services too, and felt emaciated.
