Sorry

Sorry to disappoint you readers. In mitigation I've had a rare busy week. Done 29 of my 24 St Paul's hours and still have a minimum of 13 to go as it's Cafe week along with my end of the month writing deadlines.

Douglas Adams used to say he loved deadlines; he liked the whooshing sound they made as they went past. Readers from my corporate community expecting work from me by 31/5 - you will get it but it may be tight.

Will also try to complete, by the end of the month, my Eurovision Song-Contest review, write up the staff team-building outing to the Severn Valley Railway, post a simple guide to the difference between strategy and vision for the benefit of one special reader, post Jesus on Wheels off to St Petersberg, book our holiday, go see The da Vinci Code, get to Nottingham to see Zero 7 at Rock City, celebrate not being 50 any more and remember to breathe. Probably a four-poster day then.

Latvia's accapela entry was clearly the best and should have won. I voted for it about 5 times, which I hope helped the UK to give it 2 points. Also, you can download it from the Latvian Eurovision website, so I have done that and can listen any time I like.

And now I've found their website, where you can hear clips from their albums.

Steve

So the staff team from Leamington go on a team building exercise to the Severn Valley Railway. Does that mean that my staff team from Highley ought to be doing some team building exercise in Leamington? Doesn't quite seem right somehow.

Welcome back, Steve. Been missing your updates. Wish Jesus well on his travels.

Martin, PLEASE tell me you are being sarcastic about Latvia, it was possibly the worst song ever in the history of Eurovision, well that and the Finnish Entry...

Col, you'd be more than welcome. We have a river. Endless team-building possibilities.
