Easter Tuesday

Easter Tuesday is weird when Easter is early. Granted the clocks have gone forward and we have extra daylight in the evening but after Easter it feels like it ought to be hot enough to spend that time outdoors and it isn't quite yet; not in the early evenings anyway. That's because it's Easter Tuesday but there are still three days of March to go.

April is a strange month. It hangs in that not-quite/no-longer place. A new tax year dawns but without Easter in it there are no Bank Holidays.

This year the football World Cup qualifiers meant there was no double whammy of Premiership football over Easter, a time when six points might have given West Brom a chance of avoiding relegation.

West Brom are currently the nineteenth best team in England which means they will go up and come down alternately (and have been doing so) unless they can find it in themselves to drag themselves up to seventeenth or higher.

So I need to give some attention to my end of the month writing deadlines and to our Alpha Guest Supper tomorrow night. Let's get on with March with gusto then.
