Cold gone apart from vague, under-the-surface, slightly annoying, not much more than nothing sort of cough.
Removed all remaining pieces of chestnut from down thumbnail with a pin. Throbbing over. Don't peel these nuts with your bare fingers.
Two doors up had two windows put in last night despite having removed all possible missiles from nearby gardans. Vandals with a bring-your-own-bricks policy maybe.
Sent a review to the Observer but it wasn't 'one of the best ones' so I've published it at my BBC space.
