It appears that the absence of horror stories about Olympic build-up has led to a media concentration on the economy as they'd much rather do the bad news thing. Anyway (always be very suspicious of anyone who litters their anecdotes with the word 'anyway') the opening ceremony rehearsal seems to have gone well and #keepthesecret was a nice touch. This news stream is becoming unnecessary - we do seem to be able to do upbeat in this country with a good following wind. Delighted.
