What, I wonder, is the least interesting thing you've ever been told preceded by the words, 'You'll be interested to know....'?
I'd like to nominate this:
'You'll be interested to know that the benefice wardens are meeting next Wednesday at 2 o'clock.'
Any other contenders?

Working on it. Parish magazines are usually full of them
You'll be interested to know that Steve Tilley is preaching this Sunday ;-)
Harsh but fair. Pity about the anonymity. Now I'll have to put a brick through every window.
Sorry st, but you did leave yourself wide open to that one. It was meant tongue in cheek, honest.
Enjoy the feeling of tongue against cheek for a few moments longer while I find the pliers.
