Weddings and Vicars

There was a piece in the Guardian on Wednesday about couples who check out churches in which to get married. Apparently, so this research shows, they are not looking for a beautiful backdrop to the photos (necessarily, don't hold your breath St Paul's, Leamington) but for the style and personality of the minister.

Well I think some blogger out there ought to start an online database of ministers, giving them marks out of 10 for the weddings they conducted. Let's see who cuts the mustard.

I wonder who has done the most weddings. I'm pretty light at around the 200 mark. If someone has done, say 30 a year for 30 years then 1000ish might be a good score.

Nerds. We need you. Now.

Nerds? Yes, that's me. I'll rise to the challenge - watch my blog for those marks out of 10. This should be fun...

Hmm. Anyone else been married by a vicar with sweat pouring down his face? Prominent Church Families are scary y'know ...

That's not about weddings though is it, just ordinary services.
