Exactly a year and a day since leaving home for the last time Jon (and Carys) are back from their tour of Thailand, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Bali and Indonesia, looking tired but well and with 2,000 photos (thank you digital).
Have provided cups of tea, beans on toast and hot bath water. Have been given a pestel and mortar so solid I wouldn't have been able to carry it from the shops. Am amazed it made it from Bali. It even survived two lots of airport baggage handlers. Yes, it's that solid.
Poor Carys has 8 hours to recover before we put her on a flight to Scotland tonight to join a family wedding celebration.
