Hedgehogs

Had a huge diet of Radio 4 from 7.30 - 9.45 a.m. I think 'In Our Time' is wonderful and Melvyn's guests managed to explain the history of negative numbers remarkably well. It's been a long time since O level maths (grade 1 though).

But my highlight of the morning was the discussion between two 'experts' on the advisability of badger culling, leading to this from one of them, 'These days badgers are eating hedgehogs as if they were burgers.'

If you are in a burger joint today look out for the little people in black and white. And enjoy the wonderful image of the hedgehog burger - challenging food.

Yes, indeed - all hail Melvyn Bragg's insistance to bring maths into the public eye as an exciting and interesting subject!
