I'm not the sort of person who feels any great sense apart from 'Ah well' when my teams lose. I'm not competitive enough to care. But I do just find it worth remarking that yesterday:
Leamington FC 4 Rocester 0
First season in the Midland Alliance and we are the only team with a 100% record after three games. Away at Stratford on Tuesday night may be more of a test.
Baggies 2 Portsmouth 1
Played two in our second season in the Premiership (in a row) and undefeated so far. That said we got the same points in the corresponding fixture last season with a better goal difference. Away at Chelsea (Who are you? Who are you?) next may be more of a test.
Warwickshire beat Lancashire by 99 runs in the C and G semi-final. Final against Hampshire on September 3rd.
Three teams; three wins.
