Having discussd the American election with a few friends I now realise I was wrong. Kerry not only had scary hair but also a scary chin. That means he had two scary things to Bush's one (his policies) and that is why Bush won.
Democrats you have four years to find someone who looks a credible challenger - the policies you can probably teach 'em in seconds.
