Appraisal Over; Random Thoughts

My appraisal took 2 hours and 15 minutes. I have no idea how much of this I spoke for but I suspect it wasn't quite enough.

I have no idea about quite a lot of things at the moment. I think I would like to go and live somewhere warm for a few months and read books whilst looking at the sea. It would have to be somewhere without biting insects. For the last few months I have often felt right on the edge of a surge of output but have failed to get on with it. There are about seven small projects all of which could be begun/got on with if I had half a mind or some good nagging colleagues. Maybe I'd prefer to write in an open-plan workers co-operative office where we could buzz off each other.

Incidentally Coventry Diocesan News Letter is called Surge of the Sea. Anyone know of a worse title for such an organ?

Half-time West Brom are losing at Cystal Palace 2-0. We need a point at least from that one and preferably 3. Depressing.

If you send someone a text message mentioning puff pastry (I'm sure you do all the time) the predicted text feature suggests rude pastry. Now what would that be like?

Have just bought Geza Vermes' book, The Authentic Gospel of Jesus.
