I criticised a colleague's written work today, specifically the first 104 words. What was wrong with the first 104 words? They were only two sentences. However I lost the bad communication game to Mrs Mustard who came up with this wonderful double set of winning lines today, from an announcement to her company staff:
strategic and transactional people initiatives
commercially focused people solutions
It is one of the highest scores she has ever achieved. If anyone has any idea what they mean the comments box is for strategic, response-focused interventions.

The cynic in me thinks this means that they are about to reduce staff numbers!
"strategic and transactional people initiatives"
"commercially focused people solutions"
- I think they both mean "Let's make money out of people but pretend we're helping them".

"commercially focused people solutions" sounds like a Doctor Who front for a company which liquidises people and then sells the results as bath oil.
archdruid Eileen...
I think that you've nailed it!
alternatively,
they might well suggest that people are only people if they take strategic or transactional initiatives or provide commercial solutions.
I'm not sure that I like the implications of either
