Music, book and holiday

Apparently 28 million people have blogs. Some of them have readers too.

Now:

Go out and buy the new Zero 7 album. Some of the Sunday papers suggested it was rather poor. Sunday papers reviewers listen to too many new albums and are consequently difficult to impress. It is mighty fine.

Try to read 'If nobody speaks of remarkable things' by Jon McGregor. Beautifully restrained prose about a something-that-just-happened - but you don't know what until the end.

Great holiday. Rescued a lamb stuck in a fence. Had a puncture which brought the total of new tyres required during the week to three. Finally watched Love Actually and the Italian Job remake. Ate, drank an' ting. Ting was excellent. Was probably responsible for scaring the lamb in the road so it tried to get back into the field through the fence and thus got stuck but what the hell, still rescued it.
