A bit about me as I embark on my first ever blog (thanks Seb Apostol for telling me about this and Jonny Baker for examples of what to do on a blogsite).
I'm a 48 year old Brummie who hasn't quite got the hang of acting his age yet. Have done some of the things old people do like a silver wedding anniversary. Also raised two sons to crime-free adulthood.
I guess I'm a writer first and foremost. Probably more of a writer than author since I spend a lot of my day writing and don't care (that much) if any of it ever gets read. So why start a blog? Hmmmm, interesting psychological question which I will not visit for the time being.
I'm a follower of Jesus but hate the word 'Christian' and always have done because of the baggage attached to it. I heard a fellow traveller describe themselves as a seeker-after-truth and I really like that idea.
I'm an ordained anglican minister who now works part-time as Associate Minister at St Paul's, Leamington Spa and tries to freelance it the rest of the week.
I'm difficult to motivate, easy to distract, fond of unpopular music, annoying company, happy in the presence of real ale and amazed that I live in my own house. Liz keeps me sane, dog-sitting keeps me making a useful contribution to the local community and my god I go on don't I. Let's post.
