I’ve managed to spend twenty-eight ordained years not being the incumbent of anywhere so remember you are ordained for ministry not the vicarage.

    as a new ordinand (although not studying for a year yet) this list is brill. particularly like the last (todays) one :) as a hopeful pioneer...
    you could add, a dose of honest humility once in a while is good. People often put vicars on a pedestal, its good for them to hear that they are not perfect and fail once in a while too.
